Stock Delphi EFI Flash Tuning Options (2001 and up):
Twins Cycle can remap your factory ECU (electronic control unit) in order to account for increased airflow (pipe changes, air filter changes, cams, etc.). We can flash a new program into your ECU, which eliminates the need for piggy back devices and additional connections to fail. This reflashing allows for adjustments to the calibration tables which enables a tuner to dial in a more accurate base calibration based on the specific motorcycle.
Here at Twins Cycle we offer the following flash tuning options:
Basic Calibration Flash -
This is the most economical flash tuning option for your stock ECM, since there is no hardware to buy. We flash tune a calibration right to your stock Delphi ecm using the Dynojet Power Vision tuning system. This option requires the one time purchase of a Vin specific tuning license from Dyno Jet for our shop's Power Vision. Once you purchase the license, our shop can flash your bike as often as you need without an additional license cost (excluding shop labor costs).
Techno Research Direct Link Flash -
The Direct Link flash option is the most economical flash tuning option that gives the consumer some portability of their tuning license. The Direct Link system is based on using the Techno Research tuning hardware for flashing, but the tuning key is available to the consumer and other Direct Link tuners can tune with that key. Once you purchase the key, our shop can flash your bike as often as you need without an additional license cost (excluding shop labor costs).
In addition to the standard Delphi option, older Harley EFI models with the Marelli can also be tuned using this system.
TTS Mastertune -
Mastertune is a Windows-based ECM reprogramming
tool specifically for use with 2001 and later Delphi equipped
Harley-Davidson ® motorcycles that utilize the
diagnostic interface. This flash tuning option includes
three software packages: Mastertune HD, Datamaster,
and Vtune programs. This system also includes a
software updater, which allows the end user to keep up
to date with a updates provided by TTS. This option
includes a vehicle communication interface (VCI) which
locks to the specific VIN number of your motorcycle and
can be used to flash calibrate your ecm as often as you
like.
Dynojet Power Vision -
The Power Vision is a performance tuner and data monitor that offers the latest flash tuning technology, data logging, and other industry exclusive features. Developed to tune any fuel injected Harley-Davidson motorcycle with the Delphi ECM , including 2013 models. This flash tuning option includes a full color touch screen flash device that locks to the specific VIN number of your motorcycle and can be used to flash calibrate your ECM as often as you like. This option also includes a vehicle interface cable and the WinPV tuning software (Windows PC based tuning application).
